The Taurus mountains are nearby and well worth visiting. There are many ancient historical sites, such as the roman amphitheatre in Side and the amphitheatre "aspendos". The beautifull Koprulu canyon provides rafting and kayaking facilities as well as hiking routes. Golfing courses are nearby in Belek.
